Blog 5/15/11
Whats up. God now im workin all the time. I am gettin some pretty good hours and the paycheck is gonna be nice for the first time haha. Ive been so bored lately nothin is goin on, im gettin lazy because its the end of the year. I dont feel like doing anything but i know i have too. My friend Richard works with me at Meijer, he got a job too. In english we are we reading this book about Orson Welles. Its alright, im just trying to stay interested in it. We have a studyguide and we will prob have a test like Julius Caesar when we are done reading it. It rained today while i was working. I dont really know why its raining in may but its whatever. I chilled with friends over the weekend normal stuff, alright people cya.

Blog 5/8/11
Hey guys. I finally got a job. I start training on Monday. I hope its gonna be fun, I work at Meijers on hamilton road. Yes, i do push carts but its really not all that bad. I am seperated from the store so i dont really have to talk to anyone except the other kids outside with me and we go at our own pace and just talk. Its pretty easy. Also, its a pretty good excersise when you start pushin in 40 carts inside. I like most of the people there who i push carts with. Im meeting a lot of new people at this job and i think it will end up being good. But anyways, I just chilled with friends like usual nothing new, did some homework. Gettin pretty tired of school. English class is okay, I wonder what were gonna start doing. I guess we'll just have to see what Mr. Potter makes us do. Well see ya next week. pce

Blog 5/1/11
Whats up everyone? The weekend was not too bad this time. On Friday, I went to my friend drews and we chilled there and went to my other friend's house to watch him and his band have band practice. They're actually not that bad, they are getting better. Its my friend chris's band. I dont really have any homework this weekend but i was all stressed out from turning in like 2 projects for health during the week. I got a history project due like tuesday so i gotta get that done. In english weve been having tests over Julius Caesar. I did pretty good on most of them but we are gonna be able to re-do some so im going to do that so i can get a better grade. We just finished up that story haha. But yeah on Saturday i hung out with some friends again. Then today i got a job interview! Its on wedsnesday after school at meijer. Its the one by morse road. SO now im out of trouble with my parents since i got a job. Today i worked all day for my dad thought, it sucked but at least i got payed. Alllllright well i think thats all i got. Hey people. Easter was good, i ate a good dinner and got some candy. This weekend sucked and it was boring. On friday i just chilled with some people then after i went home. Then on saturday my newphew came over and i had to watch him like all day which sucked. But it was cool seeing him. Then on Sunday i just played some bball and did some hw. Theres nothing really going on in english except these blogs right now. Alright guys, it was a short post but thats all i got. Peace.

Blog 4/17/11
Hey everyone. My weekend was pretty good. I still gotta get a job, someone should help me get one if you already have one. In class we have been doing to play and its alright. I just do the packet and my definitions. Other than that and these blogs we really havent been doing a lot in English, but Mr. Potter will probably have something for us to do after reading Julius Caesar. During the weekend I helped around the house and made some money which was good. On Friday, I just hung out with some friends then went home later in the night. On saturday, I went over to my friend Josh's house, the one in our class, and we just chilled there and went other places throughout the day. I stayed over there later that night. 2k is where its at. On Sunday, I did some more chores, I had to do laundry because I was running out of clothes to wear haha. Also, I watched the playoffs for the NBA. There were some pretty good games. Chris Paul destroyed the Lakers himself. Thats it, see ya.

Blog 4/10/11
Hey everyone. We are back to blogs again! haha i dont like them. But lets see, we didnt get a topic from Mr. Potter so i guess i'll just tell you about my weekend like usual. On friday, I went to my friend Josh's house with a couple of other people. It was fun. We just chilled. Then on Saturday I went looking for jobs again, i need a job really bad. Im runnin out of money. Later that night I went to my friend Drew's house. We chilled there with some other kids. On sunday i was outside all day! It was tooooo nice out. I hate Ohio weather. It goes from like snowing to being 70 degrees outside all nice and sunny. I played a lot of basketball then went home and did some of my homework. So yeah, a pretty boring weekend. Love Hurts.
Dear Reader,
I will be talking about a book I have just finished reading. The book I read was called Playing with Matches. The authors name is Brian Katcher. The theme I chose was Love. This theme plays well into the story. The plot is about a young teenage boy named Leon Sanders who approaches an obstacle that he has never faced before, a girl liking him. Leon is not the most popular kid in high school, he has a couple of close friends and that’s it. Leon finds a girl named Melody, who is one of the ugliest girls in school but for some reason Leon likes being with her especially since no one else has ever liked him before. Leon and Melody start dating, they are always happy with each other until one day Leon’s dream girl since 4th grade acknowledges him and starts talking to him. Leon is more than surprised by Amy Green, the girl of his dreams that she is talking to him. She is one of the most popular girls in high school and very pretty. Amy and Leon end up talking and she starts to like him. They kiss while Leon is still dating Melody. Leon ends up breaking up with Melody just to take a chance with the pretty girl Amy. Melody is heartbroken and betrayed. She never wants to talk to Leon again. Amy and Leon start dating, everything is going right for him. Except the only problem he has is that every time he hangs out with Amy, he can’t stop thinking about Melody. He realizes that he had so much more fun and a better connection with Melody than Amy. Leon dumps Amy to try to make everything better with Melody. Leon is in love with Melody and he wants to be with her. Melody doesn’t want to get heartbroken again so she tells him no. But in the end she ends up taking him back since she is in love with him. They end up happily ever after. This is why I chose Love as the theme in my book. Leon and Melody stay with each other and love each other no matter what happens.

I don’t know what to do. I’m so confused. I love Melody and I don’t want our friendship to be over. I need to figure this out. Amy is really pretty and great but nothing like Melody. Reflection
The first genre I chose was Diary entry. I chose this because it was a good piece to put in my project because it blended so well with my plot. It showed how bad Leon wanted Melody back and the love he had for her. A diary entry would show what Leon was really thinking to himself that nobody knew. The next genre I chose was ten ways to know if… I chose this because this is just giving basic examples of how someone loves you or how to know. It shows how someone would love you and how you feel during those situations. This genre goes great with the theme I chose because Leon and Melody experienced some of these things. It is easy to identify someone who loves you. Another genre I did was an apology note. This was just a random note from Leon to Melody saying how sorry he was about leaving her. Melody was devastated because of Leon. Leon wanted to make everything all better and he was sorry for breaking her heart. He wanted her back and he didn’t know what he was thinking. This genre went excellent with the theme because in the note he tells her how much he loves her and he really means it. It was a sincere apology. Finally the last genre I did was the collage. The collage contains pictures of people or things that show love. Also, it has a couple quotes about love. This was important because it gives a visual representation of what love is and how it is shown. The theme really comes out in this genre. All of these genres helped my theme come out in my project. Everything went well with the theme love. I’ve never been a situation like Leon was in so it was pretty difficult to write the notes and letters from his perspective but it helped me know more about my theme love.

Blog 3/6/11
This weekend I did a lot. On Friday i helped my Mom do some work. I went to my friend Jacobs and chilled, then we went to a party later that night. It was fun. I also just realized that my money is going away fast... no job and a car that takes 50$ for a full tank. Its killin me, i applied to so many places for a job and havent got anything back yet. Im gettin madddd, but I gotta stay positive because someone might just call me you never know. My fellow classmate josh jsut got a job at angies pizza hah, lucky. On saturday, I went back to jacobs and then played basketball with him, evan and gram. It was fun. AFter we went to bexley and went to another party but it was pretty dumb no lie. Im keepin up my grades too, had no homework this weekend which is good. OGTS are comin up soon, I think i; be fine all you need to know is like the basic stuff. I met up with my spanish group, erik and alex, on friday and sunday. We did a restuarant scene and it was easy. I wanted to have the topic Mr. Potter gave to us, but i just couldnt think of something. I know i have a great achievement i just cant think about it. In english we are not really doing anything, except that one project with the book. My book is called Playing with Matches. Its actually a good book. I havent read a really good book in i dont know how long haha. Well i think this is it, ill see you guys in class.

The Hobo Murder
Julia Sharp was just like any other person in the world. Good childhood, decent job, and a good life. Julia was a accountant. She had that job where you would sit in a cubicle all day. Julia hated her job, she hated sitting in her cubicle repeating the same thing everyday. The only thing missing in Julia’s life was a little excitement, which she wanted the most. Julia had a boyfriend named Brandon Brandon
Julia was a nice lady, she was always feeling bad for someone. Everybody knew that she had a soft spot for people who were less fortunate than her. There was a hobo who always asked for spare change, outside her office building. He knew that Julia would always have something for him. If she didn’t have something one day or a couple days, he still knew that she would have something once in awhile. The hobo wasn’t there everyday but he would be around sometimes. The normal conversation between these two was always the same.
“Hello Miss Sharp!” The hobo said in excitement. “Do you have any change you could spare today?
“Yes I do!” said Julia, she was always happy to help someone out. “Let me look here… I have some quarter’s right here.”
“Oh, why thank you so much Miss Sharp! Bless your soul!” The hobo said.
Julia responded “Well you’re quite welcome. I’m always glad to help. I hope you have a good day sir.”
“You too Miss Sharp! Thank you again!” the hobo joyfully said.
The week was turning out to be a boring one again for Julia. The only thing she was looking forward to was the upcoming Friday night. Julia and a couple of her girlfriends were going to go out and have some fun. During the week the hobo kept asking Julia for money but she didn’t have any because she was saving up for Friday. For once Julia was actually excited for something. The hobo was getting angry at her. She denied him many times now. Also, Julia didn’t tell her boyfriend Brandon that she was going to go out yet. So on Friday, Julia was getting ready to go to work and she decided to tell Brandon
“Hey babe, I am going out with the girls tonight.” said Julia.
“After work, we are going to Coach’s.” she replied.
“Okay, when are you going to be home?” Brandon
“I don’t know yet.” Said Julia, who was starting to get annoyed.
Julia responded. “I will! Don’t tell me what to do! You’re always doing this Brandon
“Oh my god!” Julia said. She slammed the front door behind her and went to work.
Once again Julia was having another boring day. Julia could not stop thinking about how Brandon Brandon Brandon Brandon Brandon
The next day, Julia didn’t show up for work. All of her co-workers saw her car and started worrying. Lisa saw Julia’s and she knew something was wrong because Lisa dropped Julia off by her car the night before. Lisa called the cops. The police showed up to her work to investigate. They saw the hobo and started talking to him, Lisa remembered that the day before that Julia did not give the hobo money and he was mad at her. The police searched the ally that led to Julia’s car and in the back of a corner there was a trash can. The policemen opened the trash can to throw something away when he discovered Julia Sharp’s body. In Lisa’s mind she thought it was the hobo because he lived in the ally where Julia’s body was found. The hobo kept saying that he didn’t kill Julia. He said she was a nice lady and he would never do such a thing. The police asked Lisa if there was anyone else who was close with Julia. Lisa realized that Julia’s boyfriend had not been called yet. Police went to Julia’s house and stumbled upon something that no one could think of. They found Brandon

2/20/11
Hi everyone. We have this long weekend, sooo pumped. Im gettin tired of school right now. buuuuut GUESS WHAT!? I GOT MY LICENSE!!! I got it on saturday, i was so nervous for the manueverability, i think thats how you spell it lol, but yeah that part was pretty scary but once i got that done the rest of the test was easy. The first thing i did when i got home was go to my friends house. Its so weird when you drive that first time by yourself, i was so happy. I cant explain it, now i dont have to hear my parents in my ear when im drivin. I went to Jacobs and chilled with some people, cruised around in my car and some other things. The next day I went and looked for job applications haha, ive applied to a couple places so far. I need a job to pay my insurance and gas. On monday I went and played basketball and the YMCA with a couple of friends. So yeah having a license is preeeeeetty fun, trust me. My whole life changed now that i have a car and can go anywhere i want and not have to rely on others for a ride somewhere. This is is, see ya next week.

Well this weekend was amazing. On friday, my friend Jacob had a party for his birthday. There was a lot of people there over like 50 actually. People were everywhere, upstairs and downstairs. Everyone was having fun and the music was so loud. I remember going outside for a second and it seemed like the whole house was just playing music on its own lol. I ended up staying the night there after everyone got kicked out. The next morning we had a huge breakfast. I watched some sports too, OSU lost in basketball. English class is pretty chill right now, we arnt really doing anything yet. I gotta start doing the topics Mr. Potter posts so mine are not always the same thing every week. I didnt have a lot of homework either this weekend which was good. Well thats it, party was fun blahblah, yeah peace.

Hi. This weekend was pretty fun. Today is my birthday, I got lots of money. hahah All i can think of is gettin my license, feb 20th or somethin like that because my parents are on a cruise right now so I cant get it until they come back. SO dumb. But yeah chilled with friends, had a bday dinner with my family yesterday which was pretty fun. Superbowl baby, the pack. BEAT THE STEELERS. I hate them so much i am so gald that they lost. Everyone who liked them just can now shut their mouth like seriously. Steeler fans are so annoying. It was a good game though. Well nothin new really happened lately except my bday and some other stuff. I was gonna do another post about Mr. Potter's topic this week like last time but as I am typing this I forgot lol. Its okay I'll do his topic next week. We arnt doing anything really in english, its a lil boring we need to do somethin fun. but its all good. Hey everyone. Well this week Mr. Potter gave us a topic to write about finally. Its about cartoons or somethin but I know what hes talkin about. Cartoons are just not the same as they used to be back then when I was little. When I was little I used to watch like pokemon every morning before I went to school. I mean I dont really watch cartoons anymore but I know they arnt the same. The classics used to be like Rocket Power, Dexters Labortory, Hey Arnold, etc. There are just wayyyyyyy to many to even say right now. Hey guys. Exam week is over! finally lol. I was stressed all of that week but now I am fine. I think I did good, well hopefully I did. The weekend was normal, chilled with some friends on Friday and Saturday. I'm gettin some good driving expirience in too. I need to keep getting practice because I'm getting my license soon in Febuary. I can not wait. Its gonna be sooooo sweet! What else... uhm oh yeah the Superbowl is now set, it is the Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers. I hate the Steelers with a passion. I hope they lose, like you dont even understand. I got a car too! A ford escape, its black and its a SUV. I love it. Well yeah this is my post, little boring but hopefully I'll have better stuff to talk about next time. Peace.

Hey guys, I'm gettin ready for exams. Im actually kind of nervous because I dont want to fail. I need good grades this year. I think the english exam will be alright I just need to keep lookin over the study guide and fill my packet thing out. I think I will be alright as long as I focus. The football games are pretty good. Its the Jets playing the Steelers, and the Bears and playing the Packers. I want the Steelers to lose so bad, I hate them so much. So many people at our school only like them because they are good I hate people like that. AKA Bandwagoning. But I will admit they pretty good. Soooo I hung out with some friends, just a normal weekend you know? But yeah here we go exams, I wish everyone good luck! See ya!

Blog 1/9/11
Hey everyone, how about this weekend? It was a great weekend for sports. Jets won with a last second field goal and the Seahawks beat the defending champions. Both superbowl teams from last year are out in the first round of the playoffs/ But yeah my weekend was pretty good, went to Jacobs on Friday. He had a little party, it was pretty fun. Then I didn't do much after that during the weekend haha I just watched TV and did some homework. Tomorrow is the BCS National Title game, it is Auburn vs. Oregon. I think Auburn is going to win because they had to play harder teams since they were in the SEC which is a pretty strong conference but you never know what Oregon is going to be able to do. All the hype is about Cam Newton the quarterback for Auburn, hes pretty good. I think its going to be a good game. Alright well I guess I'll see you guys next Sunday. Peace.
